The Ultimate Hot / Cold Face Mask Compress

The THERAPRO™/SensaFlex Hot/Cold Face Compress may be used on the face for both cold and hot therapy to help in reducing post-operative swelling and bruising. The compress may be used for a wide range of cosmetic procedures, including chemical peel, collagen injections, eyelid surgery, face lift, laser skin resurfacing, nose surgery, and other procedures.

Product Description
With simple storage between uses, this reusable compress can be applied again and again. The flexible non-cracking PVC thermo plastic membrane conforms gently to the area where the application of cold therapy is needed. The compress's unique non-freezable, non-toxic, food grade gel remains pliable even at temperatures as low as -25°F (-27°C). The scientific, anatomical designs of the compress keep the gel distributed over the treatment area for better cold therapy treatment. Both the non-freezable gel and the FDA-approved material used to make the compress (medical grade PVC crystal) are non-toxic, making the compress safe for all applications.

Cold Therapy
The immediate application of cold therapy is beneficial for reducing swelling by constricting the capillary vessels and slowing down the flow of blood and other fluids to the injured or operated area. Patients also benefit from cold therapy’s anesthetic effect on the nerves, which helps reduce the sensation of pain and provides a soothing, refreshing, and relaxing feeling to the injured or operated area. Further, cold therapy reduces the risk of hematoma formation. Warning For Hot/Cold Compress Use
Persons who have circulatory problems, are hypersensitive to cold/warm therapy, or with history of frostbite should consult a doctor before using this product. This product should always be wrapped in a cloth or towel and should not be applied directly to the skin to avoid frostbite and burns. Furthermore, do not exceed 20 minutes per application.
